Its
Toray T700 3K Prepreg carbon rear strut bar. Check the video below for more detail. We prototyped a couple bars using honeycomb and ROHACELL and the results are incredibly stiff and extremely light, an overkill IMO. However, the manufacturing process was quite intensive for production, thus we decided to go with hollow, all carbon construction like our bumper beams but without foam inside since this part is not a crash structure. We will be using honeycomb and ROHACELL for our incoming active aero project!!
Comes with 4 Gr. 5 Titanium bolts. The load path of this part is mostly in the horizontal direction with minimal torsional load. weights ~ 8.5 Oz.
