.......thanks for the abs delete kit and for the primo hand holding as you helped me with the install long distance.Fellow primers this is a really slick kit and if you also choose to remove your spare tyre and bracket you have enough room for a party under the bonnet.looks really clean, especially with the ti bolts.thanks again. 9/2014 steve k. This is an NSX ABS Delete Kit. Fits 1991-2005 years. The braided DOT approved SS line jumper kit allows you to remove your heavy, bulky and possibly not functioning ancient OEM ABS unit and replace it with your ever so sensitive right foot. This improved ABS Delete Kit has been redesigned to be lighter, better material, properly mounted, with provision for a Tilton Prop. valve(Lever Style or Knob Style not included) should you have a BBK kit and with the correct fittings without any modification or purchase of the correct parts. The mounting plate is drilled and tapped for the Tilton valve (either lever or knob style) but NOT for the Russell valve.
Custom size BBK lines avail. Starting $250.00. Contact Pole 2 Flag Racing for detail.
FYI, Tilton P-valve(aka El Nino) = .2 lb. Russell P-valve(aka El Gordo) = .4 lb. Tilton valve is a better design and better made. Russell wt. twice as much and its a square block with no recessed mounting holes - perfect for a classic muscle car i.e. 69 Hemi Dart. Pictures here are for size comparison purpose only.
OFFROAD USE ONLY

Installation Tips(For More Detail Pix, Check The Install Shop/Tips Tab Above For The pdf File)
For those of you who purchased our ABS Delete kit with provision for the Tilton Level Type P-valve. Please note that there are total of 7 avail. positions to adjust the brake pressure of this valve and the 1st position is all the way down(handle facing the driver). clicking towards the front of the car will have 6 more positions so that is all this valve is designed for.

Snug up the middle M10 bolt with HEICO washer, two alum spacers, two SS lines as shown above first to the mounting bracket before mounting the bracket to the chassis. The two alum spacers are needed so the line wrench has room to tighten the fittings. The lines to the master cylinder are designed to have the proper placement angle as shown above when clocked and tightened properly.
Must flush the complete brake system properly to avoid air in the lines to cause spongy brake pedal. Yes, now wish you bought DOT 5-layer SS brake lines as they are way better made than the typical 2-layer SS line non-DOT approved so you don't do this again.

Our ABS delete kit is made for the OEM brakes but knowing some people may have BBK and certain brand of BBK is made for the NSX (i.e. Stop Tech) and some are not(nothing wrong with that).
This means the NSX specific AF brakes have different sizes of caliper pistons front and rear to balance the brake force, therefore, a P-valve may not be necessary. Some BBK use the same size of pistons frt/rear for better pricing for the calipers in stead of buying/making different sizes, (a lot of race cars are like this), in that case, a p-valve is necessary to balance the braking force. If you have BBK with 4 piston type in the front and a two piston type in the rear, you may not need a P-valve as the rear will get less braking than the front. So, this option is really up to you of how you like your existing brake system w/o the oem ABS.
We 1st drilled and tapped for the Tilton P-vave of the lever design for the road racing cars but some people want to use the Russell p-valve of the knob style and its twice as heavy as the Tilton, not as well made in our opinion, its more for the drag racer type or hot rods. The mounting plate is drilled and tapped for a Tilton or a Russell of your choice.
We will design and make new lines for the Tilton or the Russell set up in the future so folks with BBK can have a choice. We will carry both P-valves in stock but this project will need a few more months to complete as we are focusing on a few products getting ready to launch.
