Common stainless steel (SS) brake lines on the market today are mostly 2-layer(SS braid over teflon liner) type that are often used in race conditions which means they are replaced often. It has a teflon core wrapped with SS braid. Its easy to kink if not careful and fine dirt and particles will find its way pass the SS braid over time which can not be cleaned. Don't waste your money buying falsely claimed DOT lines. Our DOT approved lines offers better value and important features listed below and it can be cleaned periodically with a towel dabbed with WD-40 to keep the outer protective layer clean and pliable.
