Donald Trump's NSX
A 1991 Acura NSX once owned briefly by Donald Trump before being gifted to his then-girlfriend Marla Maples sold in 2015 for just over $48,200.
If you’re Donald Trump, one way to impress a woman is by giving her a sleek Japanese supercar. According to an eBay listing that closed on August 16, 2015, this black NSX, originally purchased by Trump, found a new owner for $48,200. The seller seemed firm on the price, setting the starting bid at $48,000—just $200 less than the final sale price. The winning bidder placed their offer about five hours before the auction ended, securing the car in a last-minute move. While it may not be a Buick LeSabre famously linked to Jon Voight, this NSX was still quite the steal.

The seller shared some background on the car’s history:
“In 2005, I purchased this black-on-black 1991 Acura NSX on eBay directly from Marla Maples. She kept the car for more than twice as long as her relationship with Donald lasted—smart woman. Despite what the 'autocheck' vehicle history suggests, I am actually the second owner, not the third. There’s more to the story behind this car, but out of respect for both Marla and Mr. Trump, those details will remain private.”

As NSXs go, this one isn’t particularly rare or low-mileage. It wasn’t showroom quality, but it was a well-loved and practical supercar. When the seller first acquired it, the odometer read 35,000 miles. Over time, they added another 46,000, proving just how enjoyable the NSX is to drive. However, with the sale of their home in 2015, they decided it was time to part with everything—including this iconic ride.

In a generous move, the seller also pledged that 20% of the net proceeds from the sale would go to the American Red Cross.
